From there, the weather only gets better. Auburn sees highs and lows of 75 degrees and 49 degrees in October, and rarely ever falls below 53 and 39 in December. The rainfall is similarly mild, leaving the family plenty of beautiful sunny outside days. While in the summer, Auburn averages no rain at all, in the winter, it only sees as much as typically four inches in January. This town's weather is almost as close to paradise as one can hope to reach.

Forest Hill - mountain cyclists are sure to love this wonderful mountain bicycle trail.

Western States Endurance Run - Auburn is home to this ultra marathon that is held every year.
